EMERGENCY CARE

Our clinic is equipped to handle a number of emergency situations should the need arise.  We have the ability to do on-site diagnostic testing including blood screenings, urine and stool testing, digital radiographs (x-rays), and most surgical procedures.  We are fully-equipped to treat acute or sudden-onset disease, injury, or illness.  Click the photos on the right for a full-view and description.

Some common pet emergencies are:

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Lacerations or bite wounds

  • Heavy bleeding

  • Collapse

  • Loss of consciousness

  • Paralysis

  • Vomiting or diarrhea with blood present

  • Allergic reactions

  • Toxin ingestion

  • Hit-by-car

  • Encounters with porcupines
