An Important Message to Our Clients
COVID Policy Update- December 2021
MASKS REQUIRED REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS
Clients and customers who have knowingly come into contact with someone who has- or is suspected to have- COVID, will not be allowed in the building...REGARDLESS OF YOUR VACCINATION STATUS. This is in order to ensure that our staff stays safe and healthy, and our doors can stay open- as they have since day 1- this is going to be our policy for the foreseeable future.
And for your information, here's a brief refresher of our guidelines and expectations regarding daily clinic operations...
Nothing has changed. We're still requiring masks in the building- REGARDLESS OF YOUR VACCINATION STATUS. This is non-negotiable. If you refuse to wear a mask, you will need to wait in your vehicle for the duration of your time at the clinic. A staff member will bring your pet in and out to minimize potential exposure and virus transmission.
Additionally, please continue to maintain 6ft of space between yourself and others while at the clinic. If you have a cough or cold, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better to ensure safety of staff and other clients. If you have recently come into contact with someone who has- or is suspected to have- COVID, please notify staff prior to your appointment date/time, or as soon as possible after your appointment.
January 2021
As we round the corner on month 10 of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the changes we’ve made in an effort to keep our staff and clients safe and healthy, and to keep our doors open.
The office lobby will remain closed. This means that we will continue to require that individuals call upon arriving at the clinic, no matter the reason for the visit.
If you do not have a phone, please knock on the door and staff will be with you momentarily. Please be mindful of others trying to enter and exit the building; we're using a single access point for everyone, and the doorway needs to be kept clear at all times. Please practice social distancing AT ALL TIMES while on the property/in the building; this means giving each other at least 6ft of space...this is an important reminder in general, as we all greatly value our personal space-- now more than ever!! While we're at it-- LEASHES ARE REQUIRED ON CLINIC GROUNDS. Especially now...please be responsible, and respectful of those around you.
*MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE BUILDING*
If you cannot, or do not want to, wear a mask while inside the building, you will be asked to wait in your vehicle and one of our Staff members will bring your pet in for the appointment; the Doctor will call you once they are in the exam room with your pet. Additionally, if you need or prefer to wait in your vehicle, please advise staff and we will follow the same steps.
What to expect when you visit Eastwood Animal Clinic:
-
Appointment check-in:
-
We will ask for the number you’re calling from as well as vehicle information so we can let you know when we’re ready for your pet. We will send you a text message, call you, or come to your vehicle once we are ready for you.
-
You may accompany your pet into the exam room for the appointment as long as you are wearing a mask while you are in the building.
-
If you would prefer to wait in your vehicle, please notify staff upon arrival and someone will bring your pet in for you and the Doctor will call you once they are in the exam room with your pet.
-
-
Pick up medications, food, etc.: Call upon arrival and we will be happy to bring your items out to you or meet you at the door with them. We will take payment over the phone when you call the order in, or when you call to pick up.
-
Drop off for procedure: There will most likely be paperwork for you to complete. We will meet you outside to bring your pet in, go over any necessary paperwork or consent forms, and answer any questions you may have.
-
Payments: We are requesting, whenever possible, that clients pay with a credit or debit card over the phone. Additionally, we do accept checks, and we can take cash as long as it is exact change. Again, please use a card over the phone whenever possible.
*MASKS OR CLOTH FACE COVERING THAT COVERS YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THE BUILDING
